You can increase or decrease the brightness by pressing the “+” or “-” brightness buttons. Personally I always leave mine on manual mode and about setting 6 with the 32MOA ring only. To install the 509T, first you have to attach the mounting plate to the slide using the two included 6-32 T10 flat head screws and tighten the screws to 15 in\/lbs. Then using the included T10 Torx tool, loosen the clamp screws and attach the 509T onto the plate so the recoil lug engages the slot on the plate.
