Holosun 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan Reticles
The 507K ACSS vulcan comes in red or green reticle versions. It features a 230 MOA dotted outer ring, and a 3 MOA center dot. The outer ring can be toggled on or off by hodling down the “-” button for 3 seconds.
In real life when viewing the dot directly in the center, most of the outer ring is not visible. The outer ring is more visible when you are “off center”. You can learn more about the ACSS Vulcan reticle here in our guide.
The ACSS Vulcan reticle isn’t just for newbies, advanced and competition shooters use it because they find it helpful especially during scenarios when you are using your non dominant hand, or are shooting from abnormal positions such as laying on your side or peeking around a corner.

Holosun 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan Review & Highlights
The 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan is a great micro pistol optic. It is the only micro pistol optic to feature the popular ACSS Vulcan reticle. To learn more about the ACSS Vulcan reticle read our guide here.
If you are new to the pistol red dot shooting game, then one of the first things you will realize is that “finding the dot” is something you will need to practice. Many first time users will install a pistol red dot, bring it up to aim, and aren’t able to see the dot. With practice you will improve, however the ACSS Vulcan helps tremendously in this scenario because it features a large 230 MOA dotted outer ring.
This outer ring is mainly visible when you do not have the dot centered. You will quickly learn how to adjust your grip when you see where the large outer ring is when you draw the weapon. This acts like an “aim assist” for your red dot.
As mentioned above, this helps with beginners, but it also comes in handy for competitive shooting or stressful scenarios where you may not be in a perfect shooting position, or shooting at weird angles.
The 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan is very popular amongst certain groups of people who really value the added benefits of running the ACSS Vulcan.
Overall we really like it and think the larger outer ring certainly helps find the dot, especially on the smaller window of the 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan optic. The smaller the window, the more difficult finding the dot can be.

Holosun 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan Downsides
The only real downside to the 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan is that they are a modified RMSc footprint. Which means for some guns you will need an adapter plate. For example the Springfield Hellcat and Glock 43x MOS. This will cause the optic to sit a bit higher and will obstruct your irons sights.
This can be fixed with getting taller iron sights, but it is something worth noting.
If this is a deal breaker for you you can check out the Vortex Defender. It doesn’t have the same reticle, but it will mount directly on a regular “RMSC” footprint slide if that is a top priority for you.
Holosun 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan Warranty
Since the Holosun 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan is a co-branded optic with Primary Arms, it actually falls under the Primary Arms warranty.
Primary Arms has a lifetime warranty on all their optics. So if you have any issues at all you can contact Primary Arms and they will fix it.
Also when you purchase from Freedom Gorilla, if you have an issue within 30 days we will replace the optic for you free of charge.
Conclusion
The 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan is in a league of it’s own. If you like the idea of the ACSS Vulcan reticle, and want it on a micro compact pistol or any pistol with an RMSc or Modified RMSc footprint, then this is the only game in town.
Most who purchase this optic are very happy with it, and many run nothing but the ACSS Vulcan reticle on all their pistols.
