Description
The Holosun 507C X2 Green ACSS Vulcan is an open reflex pistol green dot with an RMR footprint. It is intended for use on full size or compact pistols. It will only fit your pistol if it has an RMR footprint or adapter plate.
The 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan features a 250 MOA Outer Ring and a 10 MOA Center Chevron. The outer ring acts like an "aim assist". When the Chevron is centered in the window the outer ring is not visible. But if you have difficulty "finding the dot" you will see the large outer ring. This will tell you how to adjust your grip to "find the dot".
If you are new to red dot pistol shooting or shoot in competitions the ACSS Vulcan reticle is truly a game changer.
In addition, the 10 MOA Chevron acts like a BDC in which the bottom of the chevron is where a 9mm bullet would hit at 50 yards. Furthermore, the tip of the Chevron is the most precise aiming point possible in a pistol red dot at .5 MOA.
Whether you are new to shooting pistol red dots or want a competitive edge during competitions, the 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan with it's amazing and innovative reticle will make you faster and more accurate.
This optic has a green reticle. Green has a few benefits:
- Green reticles are less straining for the eye to see.
- Green reticles can help with astigmatism. If you have astigmatism you will see a blurry dot, we have been told by a few customers that Green dots help with their astigmatism, making the dot look more crisp than the red version.
- Green will not washout on backdrops like green grass, foliage, or green colors.
- In theory Green dots can have a longer battery life because Green is brighter, so for example a green dot on brightness setting 6 may be the same brightness as a red dot on setting 7 - which would save battery life.

Below is information on mounting the Holosun 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan Reflex Sight on different pistols. Some pistols require adapter plates to make it fit. The table below is for Optics Ready pistols only. If you do not have an optics ready pistol and still want to mount a 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan to your platform, you can get a dovetail mount which replaces your rear dovetail sights. My astigmatism (0.75 diopter right eye almost perfectly horizontally) can leave the chevron looking smeared vertically. I have sunglasses to correct this and the chevron looks much better, but figured I'd let people know that up front. Hindsight, I would have opted for the conventional 507C. The small dot looks better to me without my glasses on. I do find the ACSS outer ring quite useful especially switching between pistols and reacquiring the index.
I wish I had perfect eyes, but I don't. Not the optic's fault.
That aside, I appreciated Freedom Gorilla's videos and comprehensive fitment guide. I'll certainly continue to purchase my optics here.
I love this Holosun optical sight. I like the green ACSS Vulcan retical. The green Chevron type sight is easy to acquire and easy to maintain. I would like to replace some of my trijicon sights with this Holosun sight but it is expensive. I would like to buy another 3 or 4 of these sights.
