Holosun 507K X2 Reticles
The Holosun 507K X2 comes in both red and green reticles and has Holosuns Multi Reticle System (MRS). The MRS Reticle is three reticles in one. You get a 32 MOA outer ring, a 2 MOA Center dot, and can use just the 32 MOA ring only.
To toggle the reticle, you hold down the "-" button for three seconds and the reticle will change.
The MRS reticle is nice if you want flexibility. The larger outer ring helps you "find the dot" and the 2 MOA center dot is small and precise.

Holosun 507K X2 Footprint
The Holosun 507K X2 has a modified RMSc footprint a.k.a. K Series footprint. This is similar to an RMSc footprint but it doesn't have rear recoil lugs. The rear recoil lugs were removed to allow Holosun to seal the unit making it IP67 waterproof rated which makes it one of the best waterproof rated optics in this category. To fit it on your RMSc footprint pistol you will need an adapter plate which can be found below in our fitment table.
Holosun 507K X2 Intended Use
The Holosun 507K X2 is a micro pistol optic which means it is on the smaller size. It’s intended to be used on smaller pistols like the Glock 43X, S&W Shield, or Springfield Hellcat. It can still be used on larger pistols like a Glock 19 and S&W M&P 2.0, however to mount this on any pistol you must be aware of your pistols optic footprint. The 507K X2 can also be used a rifle optic, PCC optic, or backup scope optic if you get a "K Series" picatinny or offset adapters found here.

Holosun 507K X2 Fitment Info & Adapter Plates
Below is information on mounting the Holosun 507K X2 Red Dot Sight on different pistols. Some pistols require adapter plates to make it fit. The table below is for Optics Ready pistols only. Holosun 507K X2 Review & Highlights
The Holosun 507K X2 is the most premium micro pistol optic Holosun Makes. Compared to the 407K X2 the main difference is that it has the MRS reticle instead of the 6 MOA dot that the Holosun 407K X2 has.
The MRS reticle is nice. The larger outer ring helps you find the dot a bit easier than just a regular 2 MOA dot, and it also can be toggled, so you essentially have 3 reticle options.
If you are just getting into pistol red dot sights the 507K X2 is a good first choice. It will give you the precision of a 2 MOA center dot, and you can also test out the larger outer ring to see if you find that helps with your aim and with “finding the dot”
The Holosun 507K X2 is also extremely durable with its class leading 7075 T6 Aluminum housing. The side removable battery tray is also very convenient for when you need to replace the battery.
When you compare the 507K X2 to other optics in the market you won’t be able to find anything close to it for the money. That is Holosuns true value, the amount you pay, for the features, quality, and track record of their optics cannot currently be beat.
We really like the Holosun 507K X2. It’s a great all around micro pistol red dot, and the best in its class with its MRS reticle.

Holosun 507K X2 Downsides
The only real downside to the Holosun 507K X2, and Holosuns K series and EPS Carry series optics, is that they are a modified RMSc footprint. Which means for some pistols you will need an adapter plate. For example the Springfield Hellcat and Glock 43x. This will cause the optic to sit a bit higher and will obstruct your irons sights.
This can be fixed with getting taller iron sights, but it is something worth noting.
If this is a deal breaker for you you can check out the Vortex Defender CCW. It doesn’t have the same reticle, but it will mount directly on a regular “RMSC” footprint slide if that is a top priority for you.
Holosun 507K X2 Warranty
Holosun has a limited lifetime warranty. Basically everything is covered for the lifetime of the optic except for the electronics, that is covered for 10 years.
We’ve dealt with Holosuns warranty department and they are not a hassle to deal with.
Also when you purchase from Freedom Gorilla, if you have an issue within 30 days we will replace the optic for you free of charge.
Conclusion
The 507K X2 is one of Holosuns best selling optics. And for good reason. It gives you the multi reticle system, long battery life, a strong housing, and great features.
It is a great “all around” pistol optic and almost everyone that gets one loves it.
