The Holosun 507K X2 Green is a micro pistol green dot sight from Holosun with an M.R.S. (multi reticle system) and a modified RMSc footprint a.k.a. K Series footprint. The MRS reticle gives you a 32 MOA outer ring, and a 2 MOA center dot. The larger outer ring makes “finding the dot” a bit easier, and the 2 MOA dot make precision shots easier to achieve.
This micro pistol optic is designed to fit smaller handguns such as micro compact and subcompact pistols. It will fit on a K series slide directly (like on the Sig P365) but will require an adapter plate to fit on RMSc slides (like the Glock 43X MOS).
The MRS reticle is also configurable, allowing you to use just the 32 MOA circle, or just the 2 MOA dot if you please.
This durable red dot sight is one of the most popular red dot sights Holosun produces. It features a 7075 T6 Aluminum housing, sleek low profile design, side removable battery, shake awake, manual brightness mode, IP67 waterproof rating, 2 nightvision modes, and long battery life ranging from 20,000 to 50,000 hours depending on the reticle and brightness level.
This optic has a green reticle. Green has a few benefits:
- Green reticles are less straining for the eye to see.
- Green reticles can help with astigmatism. If you have astigmatism you will see a blurry dot, we have been told by a few customers that Green dots help with their astigmatism, making the dot look more crisp than the red version.
- Green will not washout on backdrops like green grass, foliage, or green colors.
- In theory Green dots can have a longer battery life because Green is brighter, so for example a green dot on brightness setting 6 may be the same brightness as a red dot on setting 7 - which would save battery life.

The 507K-GR is an awesome site designed for concealed carry. Multi reticle system is a really cool feature that lets you use them both together or toggle through just a 32 MOA circle only or a 2 MOA dot only. The concept behind the 32 MOA circle is so you can easily find it better when drawing the gun. It even has rear dovetails to act as rear irons sights.
The Holosun 507k is a micro compact reflex site made for sub compact pistols. It is the premium top of the line micro reflex sight holosun makes. It is a step above the 407k. It competes with the RMRcc, etc, etc.
It has an open emitter, aluminum housing, comes in red or green dot versions, and weights 1 oz.
The 507K-GR has many of Holosun’s features such as shake awake, multi reticle system, long battery life, glass, etc.
It has 2 nightvision modes and 10 daylight modes.
The only thing this site doesn’t have is solar charging, and auto brightness settings, which the 507c does.
The battery will last 50,000 hours on setting 6 with the dot only reticle. With the circle dot plus dot it will last 10k-25k hours depending on brightness settings. Should be around 20k hours on setting 6.
It accepts a CR1632 battery which is conveniently located in a side tray which means you don’t have to remove the sight and risk losing zero when changing the battery.
The MRS system is holosuns multi reticle system. It lets you choose from 3 dots, a 32 MOA + 2 MOA dot, 2 MOA dot only, or 32 MOA dot.
Some of the benefits of the 32 MOA dot + 2 MOA dot are that it’s easier to pick up upon drawing
The size of the 507k is just under 1 inch wide, 1 inch tall, and 1.6 inches in length, the actual size is 1.6x0.98x0.95. The window size is 0.58x0.77 inches.
The 507K-GR is made out of aircraft grade 7075 T6 aluminum and is very durable, waterproof IP67 is certified tested to be 100% protected against solid objects like dust and sand and has been tested to work for at least 30 minutes under 6 inches to 3.3ft of water, and can withstand drop tests.
The 507K-GR comes with a manual, cleaning cloth, two set of screws with blue Loctite already applied, and an adjustment tool for the turrets so you can change the elevation and windage as needed. Each adjustment click has a value of approximately 1 MOA or 1 inch at 100 yards (1/2" at 50y; 1/4" at 25y). When zeroing at 25 yard, if your impacts are 2 inches low and 1 inch right, you will need to adjust Elevation 8 clicks UP(counterclockwise) and 4 clicks LEFT (clockwise). The maximum adjustment range is ±30MOA.

so i am a first time dot user. and i put this on my CZ shadow 2. I was really surprised how easy it was to put on (with an adapter plate) and how nice it was to use. (i do have astigmatism and with the light brightness adjustment that is on this, i can actually see the dot without the halo effect)

Love the optic. Three reticle options are great. Reticle is bright and somewhat crisp. It’s a little “busy” with circle and dot combo setting but I like it as it is reminiscent of my Eotech. Still trying to figure out how to keep it clean from dust etc while carrying it daily which is a huge downside compared to irons.

Needed a green dot for my sig 365. This fit the bill perfectly. Have only had it at the range once, but have been happy with it so far.
I got this for my sig p365 xmacro and it fit perfectly. Direct mounted with the included screws with no need for an additional base plate. Works as it should and easy to use. I went with the green 2 moa cause I have an astigmatism. Cause for me, it works better than a red or larger moa dot. Simple to operate switching between the 3 different dot and circle configurations along with adjusting brightness. The buttons have a nice little click to them. I like that I'm able to easily turn off the shake awake in case I'm in a safe area for an extended period of time so I can save on battery. Which probably isn't needed cause I'm assuming the battery life will last for awhile. But also, the battery side access is a plus so I won't have to remove the housing to change the battery and resight it in. I'm a first time buyer from freedom gorilla and I wasn't disappointed at all. I also bought a tlr 7 sub light at the same time. Fast shipping and nice packaging. I highly recommend. Thank you FG
This is my first foray into a pistol red dot: I stumbled onto Freedom Gorilla searching for a red dot for my newly acquired M&P 5.7 and found lots of info integrated into a retail site. Freedom Gorilla really helped me narrow down my search with their helpful site info.
After cross referencing a bit and more searching i found the price right on target. On top of that they had some specific info to my platform I would have been lacking, such as needing specific mounting screws which were available by request at no charge. Their customer service was great when I reached out, and they shipped it right out with everything needed arriving on time thanks to the info available. So huge hit in the hassle free dept.

As for the sight itself, first impressions are good but I don't count myself a reputable source with such little experience:
It's clear, brightness adjustable, well fitting on my platform, and appears sturdy.
Time and training will have to be the ultimate judge on how I like it v.s. iron sights on a pistol but first impressions make me think I've made all the right decisions.
At the end of the day, I can highly endorse Freedom Gorilla with this experience and will recommend them to friends/family, I can only hope to enjoy the product as much as the purchase experience.
I put this green dot on my sig sauer p365 AXG legion and I couldn’t be happier. The sight needed a little zeroing but that’s because I have an eye astigmatism. I’ve put over a thousand rounds through it and so far the zero holds solid

I have currently only put 300 rounds through my pistol so far to evaluate and sight in. I purchased this for my 9mm shield plus , I am also using the DPP optic plate. I purchased the green color option after looking through both at a local shop, much easier for me to see and quickly acquire with my old eyes. So far it has worked out well for me. I like being able to switch between different reticle options and the different levels of brightness

Being new to pistol optics I read reviews and settled on Holosun green dot. I looked at the 407k being a few $$ cheaper than the 507k and opted for those on two of my SIG pistols.
