Holosun 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan vs 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan Size & Intended Use
The 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan is smaller than the 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan. The 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan has a narrower width and smaller window.
The 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan is intended for micro and subcompact pistols while the 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan is intended for compact and full size pistols.
To see which optic would fit on your pistol please consult with our fitment guides here.
Holosun 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan vs 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan Deck Height
The 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan has a lower deck height than the 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan. The 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan also has rear dovetails machined into the rear.
If you have a pistol that will allow you to use either of these optics due to having multiple footprint options, then the lower deck height of the 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan will allow you to see more of your iron sights than the higher deck height of the 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan.
Holosun 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan vs 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan Reticles
The 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan and the 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan come in red reticles and green reticle versions.
The reticles between the 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan and 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan are also different. The 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan has a 3 MOA center dot and a 230 MOA dotted outer ring. The 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan has a 10 MOA Chevron and a 250 MOA outer ring.
The cool thing about the 10 MOA chevron is that it has the most precise aiming point out of any pistol optic. The tip of the chevron is about 1/2 MOA. And the Chevron also acts as a BDC reticle. The bottom of the chevron is the impact of a 9MM bullet at 50 yards.
Holosun 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan vs 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan Battery Life
The 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan has a longer battery life than the 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan. The 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan is rated at 20,000 hours of battery life on setting six with the center dot and outer ring. If you turn off the outer ring it jumps to 50,000 hours of battery life on setting 6.
The 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan is rated at 10,000-25,000 hours of battery life. We believe the 10 MOA chevron is the reason for the increased battery consumption on the 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan.

Holosun 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan vs 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan Which is Better?
So now that we have discussed the similarities and differences between these two optics which one is better and which one should you get?
Well the first and most important thing is to understand which of these optics will fit on your pistol. In many cases you may only be able to fit either the 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan or the 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan. Please find your pistol on our fitment guides here to see which fit your gun.
If you have a pistol that comes with multiple adapter plates and allows you to mount both a K series footprint optic or an RMR footprint optic then you would have the option of choosing both.
The 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan is smaller, it has a smaller window, and narrower footprint. This means that it won't overhang much on your slide. It will also make it slightly more concealable.
The 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan is larger, will have more overhang on the slide, but it does have the 10 MOA chevron center reticle which a lot of people like, and it has a solar failsafe, which also gives it an optional auto-brightness mode.
I think both optics are great choices. If we were looking for something super concealable that still had the ACSS Vulcan reticle to help us "find the dot" then the 507K X2 ACSS Vulcan would be my choice.
If we wanted something we could conceal, but could also use for competition use, the 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan would be the choice.
