The reticle for the SCS MOS comes in green only. It uses a MRS reticle that is a 2 MOA center dot surrounded by a 32 MOA ring. It can be adjusted by holding down the side button to show only the 32 MOA ring, only the 2 MOA dot, or the 2 MOA dot and 32 MOA ring together.

The Holosun SCS MOS is the first of its kind for Glock MOS models. The direct mount allows for a low deck height to make it a co witness Glock sight. This allows you to still reliably use your built in iron sights with the optic attached. It also means there is no need for adapter plates and the optic has no overhang on the sides, sitting flush with the slide.
The SCS MOS uses solar recharging technology that charges by both ambient and direct sunlight. This ensures constant charging while in use with one day at the range charging it fully. It has 20k hours of battery in reserves, so it will last for 20k hours, about 2 years, without contact with any light at all such as locked in a gun safe.
The brightness is automatic, and the SCS MOS uses advanced downrange sensors that adjust the brightness based on what you see downrange; if you are in a dark room but are looking at a bright outside, it will adjust accordingly.
The brightness can also be increased with the help of a button on the side of the reticle. This overrides the default brightness for up to 30 minutes. That same button can also allow you to adjust the reticle which has a 2 MOA center dot and a 32 MOA outer ring. It can be adjusted so that you see only the center dot, only the outer ring, or both together.

Due to its streamlined design, the Holosun SCS MOS lacks some features. The SCS MOS doesn’t have a removable battery, which may be offputting for some, but this isn’t a problem since Holosun’s solar technology ensures it’s constantly charging.
Another feature it doesn’t have is manual brightness control, which may be important for those who want full control of their brightness. But we find that the automatic brightness does the trick, and the ability to increase the brightness for 30 minutes is perfect.
