This filler plate is for the Sig P226 or P229 with the Romeo 1 Pro slide cut only.
The purpose of this plate is to "fill" the gaps on your slide optic cut when mounting an RMR footprint optic.
This plate will provide more reliability when installed by distributing the recoil forces more evenly throughout the slide vs having all forces directed toward the screws with out it.
SPECIFICATION:
Thickness: V4 MIL / LEO Plates are .095″ to .099″ thick
Material: Plates are made from 6061 aluminum. All mounting hardware is Stainless Steel
Finish: Plates are MIL-SPEC Type III Hard Anodized – Black

Perfect fit for my Sig P226 mounted with Trjicon SRO although a little bit pricey.
Plate fit perfectly, it was pretty much required to mount my Holosun red dot on the P226 X5 securely. Unfortunately due to very limited options, I had to pay $70 for an overpriced small piece of metal that I felt should have been included with a $2000 gun.

This filler plate was recommended by Holsun. It works exactly as advertised. I do think it was rather pricey for what it is, but it workes great.
Sig 226 legion with Holosun 509t . Put sight on screws wouldnt work . Freedom Gorilla vidio said to order filler plate so I did that . Screws still not working , would not chamber round ? Asked FG about it said I ordered the wrong plate but didn't , the screws need to be sanded quite a bit so I did so a little at a time till it worked . No problem so far .Just know the screws are to long. Not Garilla's fault but all is well xcept spent 75$ didnt need to !

Love it huge window fast acquisition
The manufacturer filler plate from Sig, was very thin, flimsy and the screws provided did not fit on my slide. Ordered filler plate from Freedom Gorilla and the plate is sturdy, fit perfectly and the screws are the right size.
I expected that this plate would be solid and my expectations were exceeded! The fit is perfect and it definitely enhances the long term stability of the optic. Well worth the price!

The plate fill the gap PERFECTLY. This should keep the Holosun 507 solid. Not tested yet, but looks great.
Fitment seems good / solid, great quality and precision. Haven't shot the firearm to ensure stability and ensure it doesn't come lose. But very happy thus far.
