Description
The Holosun 507 Comp is a competition style red dot sight with an RMR footprint and a very large window. It’s designed to compete against optics like the Trijicon SRO, Vortex Defender XL, and Leupold Delta Point Pro.
It’s intended for use on compact or full size pistols and will fit any RMR cut slide or adapter plate.
The extra large window makes it very easy to find the dot and to acquire targets making it perfect for competitive shooters. An innovative feature of the 507 Comp is its reticle system named the Competition Reticle System (CRS for short).
The CRS Reticle gives you a total of 8 reticle configurations. There is a 2 MOA center dot, 8 MOA outer ring, 20 MOA outer ring, and 32 MOA outer ring. By holding down the “-” button for 3 seconds you can cycle through each of these ring + dot combinations to see which suits you best. We found the 32 MOA outer ring + 2 MOA center dot to be pretty nice.
In addition to its large window, the 507 Comp features manual brightness modes, side removable battery, IP67 waterproof rating, 20K to 50K hours of battery depending on brightness and reticle, and has a strong 7075 T6 Aluminum housing.

Installed it on my M&P 2.0 5” with the calculated kinetics dogtag optics plate. This combination is really outstanding. The optics is my 3rd Holosun, tough build, very crisp (at least for my astigmatism) I can only recommend the product and the freedom gorilla fast free shipping and superb customer service.
The Holosun 507 Competition is awesome! It’s unquestionably the largest optic I’ve ever had on a pistol. Not too big by any means., just large enough to enhance target acquisition speed. It’s big enough that I think it would cover a huge array of full size pistols as well as sub guns and smaller semi automatic weapons. The full spectrum of target reticles is a nice touch.
This is very nice since it has big glass window and easy controls. I suggest to purchase a cover for it for peace of mind.
I wanted an optic that would match the quality and performance of my Sig P226 X5. This Holosun checks all the boxes and more. You can select the dot/circle to match the occasion and the acquisition of the dot is faster than any of my other optics. Best of all, this is actually a bargain for performance at this level. Works great so far, really easy to use. I love the big window, easy to get on target. Did not take much adjustment at 25 yards to zero. I have it on a Glock Model 40 and it is nice.
I have 407’s, 507’s k and c. This comp optic using the 8 mos circle work very well with my astigmatism.

EXCELLENT QUALITY
This dot is amazing. It has significantly increased my pick up time during competitions. The huge window is super clear and allows for quicker target acquisitions, in all my attempts. Highly recommend this optic and Freedom Gorilla.
I have 4 or 5 of them now. Red and Green dots. I also have a Delta Point Pro and I prefer the 507 Comp.
It is easy to keep the dot in view during recoil with this large window on both a Canik Rival steel frame and a Canik TTI. Controls for reticles are simple. I run either the 2 moa dot or the dot with an 8 moa ring, depending on my mood. Excellent optic, great service, very informative videos!
