I ordered 2 EPS MRS however one of them had operational problems, the buttons did not work as they should have, the device had inconsistent behavior. It was only after I removed the battery and reinstalled it did it work properly. It has been OK since then. Overall the product does what it claims to do well.
After several months of research and opinions, I determined that this was for me. Having a lot more than a few years of using these eyes, green was the choice. Being able to change the reticle and with solar backup while being enclosed, Holosun was the answer.
It is everything it says it is and more. Works perfectly, but it is wide. I wish I’d have gone with the EPS carry on the Smith & Wesson 5.7
The larger optic works well and was recommended by Steve at freedom gorilla
was best fit for me
I love Holosun optics with Green MRS reticles. I have a 509T on a couple of guns, EPS full size on others, and EPS Carry on my compacts. I did have one problem with one of my EPS not having enough "headspace" in the dial to effectively Zero my optic. Holosun was willing to do a Warranty return and either fix or replace it. I may not do it, because I am re-thinking my Zero distance which may allow enough room to dial a Zero. If it still has a problem, I'll send it back and get it fixed or replaced. Generally speaking, all of my Green MRS dot optics work flawlessly. I also use the distance between the dot and the edge of the circle to index my holdovers. Also I bought a 510C for my Pistol Caliber Carbine from JP Rifles and love it just as much. Paul at FreedomGorilla has been extremely helpful with some mounting info for one of my unusual pistols (a PSA Rock 5.7x28mm). I recommend these guys, they're from Pennsylvania where I'm from and take it from me, you can trust their word.
