The Primary Arms PLxC 1-8x24 FFP RDB takes the compact, lightweight PLxC platform and adds Primary Arms' Red Dot Bright® (RDB) diffractive reticle technology for significantly brighter illumination without sacrificing the benefits of a first focal plane reticle.

Designed as a premium low power variable optic for professional, competition, and general-purpose rifle use, the PLxC combines Japanese ED glass, an ultra-wide field of view, AutoLive® motion-sensing illumination, and a compact 16.95 oz. design. Its 1-8x magnification range provides fast target acquisition at close distances while offering the magnification and reticle features needed for accurate shooting at extended ranges.

Red Dot Bright® Diffractive Reticle Technology

The PLxC RDB uses Primary Arms' Red Dot Bright® diffractive reticle technology rather than a traditional illuminated etch-and-fill design. This allows the center aiming system to achieve red-dot-like brightness while maintaining efficient battery usage and the functionality of a first focal plane reticle.

The brighter illumination is paired with AutoLive® motion-sensing technology, which helps conserve battery life by shutting illumination down during inactivity and automatically reactivating it when movement is detected.

ACSS Raptor 5.56/.308 Yard G2 Reticle

The ACSS Raptor 5.56/.308 Yard G2 reticle is calibrated for 5.56 NATO, .308 Winchester, and cartridges with similar ballistic profiles. At low magnification, the bright horseshoe and center chevron provide a fast aiming point for close-range shooting.

As magnification increases, the first focal plane reticle reveals additional ranging and ballistic information for more precise shooting at distance. The reticle incorporates BDC holdovers, horizontal and vertical ranging stadia, wind holds, and moving target leads, giving the shooter an intuitive aiming system from close quarters out to extended ranges.

Premium Japanese ED Glass

As part of Primary Arms' premium PLx optics line, the PLxC features high-quality Japanese ED glass designed for excellent light transmission, color accuracy, contrast, and image clarity.

The optic provides an impressive 121-foot field of view at 100 yards on 1x, helping maintain situational awareness and making the scope feel exceptionally fast at lower magnification. At 8x, the additional magnification provides greater target identification and precision for medium- and longer-range shooting.

Compact and Lightweight LPVO

Despite its 1-8x magnification range and premium optical system, the PLxC measures only 9.28 inches long and weighs just 16.95 ounces. The compact design minimizes unnecessary weight and bulk while maintaining the durability expected from a rifle optic intended for demanding use.

The integrated and interchangeable magnification throw lever makes it easy to quickly transition between 1x and 8x depending on the shooting situation.

First Focal Plane Design

The PLxC uses a first focal plane (FFP) reticle, meaning the reticle scales with magnification. This keeps the reticle's ranging references, BDC holdovers, and wind holds accurate throughout the entire magnification range instead of limiting their functionality to one specific magnification setting.
