The Primary Arms PLxC 1-8x24 FFP RDB in Flat Dark Earth is a premium low power variable optic designed to deliver red-dot-like speed at close range with the precision and flexibility of a first focal plane 1-8X rifle scope. This model features Primary Arms' Red Dot Bright® (RDB) diffractive reticle technology and the versatile ACSS Griffin MIL G2 reticle.

As part of Primary Arms' top-tier PLx optics line, the PLxC combines premium Japanese ED glass, an ultra-wide field of view, AutoLive® motion-sensing illumination, a compact 16.95 oz. body, and a durable hardcoat anodized FDE finish.

Red Dot Bright® Diffractive Reticle Technology

The PLxC RDB uses Primary Arms' Red Dot Bright® diffractive reticle technology to provide a bright, highly visible center aiming point while maintaining the benefits of a first focal plane etched reticle.

This efficient illumination system delivers red-dot-like brightness without unnecessarily sacrificing battery life. It is paired with AutoLive® motion-sensing technology, which helps conserve battery power by shutting illumination off during inactivity and automatically reactivating it when movement is detected.

ACSS Griffin MIL G2 Reticle

The ACSS Griffin MIL G2 is designed for shooters who prefer a full MRAD-based aiming system. It combines Primary Arms' fast-acquisition horseshoe and center chevron with a detailed MIL grid for precise ranging, elevation holds, and wind corrections.

The reticle includes both vertical and horizontal ranging stadia, allowing shooters to quickly estimate range and determine their holds without needing to dial the turrets. Because the Griffin MIL G2 is based around MIL measurements instead of a cartridge-specific BDC, it can be used with a wide variety of rifles and ballistic profiles.

First Focal Plane Design

The PLxC uses a first focal plane (FFP) reticle, meaning the reticle scales as magnification changes. This keeps the MIL subtensions, ranging references, and holdovers accurate throughout the entire 1-8X magnification range.

At 1X, the bright horseshoe and chevron provide a fast aiming reference for close-range shooting. As magnification increases, the detailed MIL grid becomes more prominent for precise shooting at medium and longer distances.

Premium Japanese ED Glass

The PLxC features premium-grade Japanese ED glass designed to provide excellent light transmission, color accuracy, contrast, and image clarity throughout the magnification range.

Its ultra-wide 121-foot field of view at 100 yards on 1X helps maintain situational awareness and provides a fast, open sight picture at close range. At 8X, the optic offers additional magnification for improved target identification and precision at distance.

Compact and Lightweight LPVO

Despite its 1-8X magnification range and full-featured first focal plane reticle, the PLxC measures just 9.28 inches long and weighs only 16.95 ounces. This compact design helps reduce unnecessary bulk and weight on the rifle while maintaining the durability expected from a premium LPVO.

An interchangeable dovetail magnification throw lever provides additional leverage for quickly transitioning between 1X and 8X.

Flat Dark Earth Finish

This version features a durable hardcoat anodized Flat Dark Earth finish, making it an excellent choice for FDE rifle builds or shooters looking for an alternative to a traditional black optic.
