Primary Arms PLxC 1-8x24 SFP Rifle Scope with ACSS Nova Fiber Wire Reticle

The Primary Arms PLxC 1-8x24 SFP is a compact, premium low power variable optic designed to deliver fast close-range performance with the magnification needed for precise shooting at distance. This model features the highly popular ACSS Nova Fiber Wire reticle, providing bright, red-dot-like illumination with a versatile MRAD-based aiming system.

Part of Primary Arms' top-tier PLx optics line, the PLxC combines premium Japanese ED glass, an ultra-wide field of view, AutoLive® motion-sensing illumination, and a lightweight compact body that measures approximately 9.2 inches long and weighs just 16.8 ounces.

ACSS Nova Fiber Wire Reticle

The ACSS Nova is a purpose-built reticle that uses a high-efficiency fiber optic wire to provide Primary Arms' Red Dot Bright® illumination. The bright center aiming point is designed for fast target acquisition at low magnification, while the surrounding reticle provides useful tools for more precise shooting as distance increases.

The Nova reticle incorporates MIL-based subtensions, built-in target ranging references, and moving target leads, giving shooters an intuitive aiming system for engagements ranging from close quarters to longer distances.

Red Dot Bright® Illumination with AutoLive®

The fiber wire illumination system produces a bright, easy-to-acquire center aiming point for use in a wide range of lighting conditions. Primary Arms' AutoLive® motion-sensing technology helps conserve battery life by shutting illumination off after inactivity and automatically reactivating it when movement is detected.

The illumination system is powered by a commonly available CR2032 battery.

Second Focal Plane Design

The PLxC uses a second focal plane (SFP) reticle, meaning the reticle remains the same apparent size throughout the entire 1-8X magnification range. This keeps the center aiming point easy to see and consistent as magnification changes.

Because the ACSS Nova includes MIL-based subtensions and ranging references, those measurements should be used at the magnification specified for the reticle's calibration.

Premium Japanese ED Glass

The PLxC features premium-grade Japanese ED glass designed to provide excellent light transmission, color accuracy, contrast, and image clarity throughout the magnification range.

Its ultra-wide 121-foot field of view at 100 yards on 1X helps maintain situational awareness and provides an open sight picture at close range. At 8X, the optic delivers additional magnification for improved target identification and precision at medium and longer distances.

Compact and Lightweight LPVO

The PLxC is designed to provide the capabilities of a full-featured 1-8X LPVO without unnecessary size or weight. At approximately 9.2 inches long and 16.8 ounces, it is compact enough for lightweight rifle builds while still offering an 8X top-end magnification range.

An interchangeable dovetail magnification throw lever provides additional leverage for quick transitions between 1X and 8X.
