The Primary Arms SLx 1-6x24 SFP Gen IV in Flat Dark Earth is a versatile low power variable optic built for fast close-range shooting while still providing the magnification and reticle features needed for accurate engagements at distance. This Gen IV model features an upgraded optical system, an integrated magnification throw lever, and the highly visible ACSS Nova Fiber Wire reticle.

With a 1-6x magnification range, the SLx Gen IV can be used quickly at 1X for close-range targets while providing up to 6X magnification for improved target identification and precision at medium and longer distances. Its wide 120-foot field of view at 100 yards on 1X helps maintain situational awareness and makes the optic fast and intuitive to use.

ACSS Nova Fiber Wire Reticle

The ACSS Nova is designed around a high-efficiency fiber optic wire that delivers Primary Arms' Red Dot Bright® illumination. The bright center aiming point provides fast target acquisition at low magnification while the surrounding reticle provides additional tools for more precise shooting as distance increases.

The Nova reticle incorporates MIL-based subtensions, target ranging references, and moving target leads, giving the shooter a practical set of tools for engagements ranging from close quarters to extended distances.

Red Dot Bright® Illumination

The fiber wire design allows the center aiming point to achieve bright, red-dot-like illumination that is easy to pick up in daylight conditions. The optic features 11 red illumination settings, allowing the brightness to be adjusted for different environments and lighting conditions.

Illumination is powered by a commonly available CR2032 battery.

Second Focal Plane Design

The SLx 1-6x24 Gen IV uses a second focal plane (SFP) reticle, meaning the reticle remains the same apparent size as magnification changes. This keeps the aiming point easy to see throughout the entire 1-6x magnification range.

Because the Nova uses MIL-based subtensions and ranging features, those measurements should be referenced at the magnification specified for the reticle's calibration.

Upgraded Gen IV Optical System

The Gen IV optical system is designed to provide improved image clarity, light transmission, and overall usability throughout the magnification range. The scope offers a generous 4-inch eye relief and a field of view ranging from 120 feet at 100 yards on 1X to 20 feet at 100 yards on 6X.

Integrated Magnification Throw Lever

An integrated magnification throw lever provides additional leverage for quickly transitioning between 1X and 6X. This makes it easier to move between close-range shooting and more precise magnified shooting without having to reposition your grip on the magnification ring.

Flat Dark Earth Finish

This model features a Flat Dark Earth anodized finish, making it a great option for FDE rifle builds or shooters looking for an alternative to a traditional black optic.
