The Primary Arms SLx 1-6x24 SFP Gen IV is a versatile low power variable optic designed for fast close-range shooting while still providing the magnification and reticle features needed for accurate engagements at distance. This Gen IV model features an upgraded optical system, integrated magnification throw lever, and the ACSS Aurora 5.56/.308 Meter reticle.

With a true 1-6x magnification range, the SLx Gen IV can be used similarly to a red dot at low magnification while providing up to 6X magnification for improved target identification and precision at medium and longer distances. Its wide 120-foot field of view at 100 yards on 1X helps maintain situational awareness and makes the optic quick to use in close quarters.

ACSS Aurora 5.56/.308 Meter Reticle

The ACSS Aurora 5.56/.308 Meter reticle combines an intuitive aiming system with ballistic drop compensation calibrated for 5.56 NATO, .308 Winchester, and similar ballistic profiles. The meter-based BDC provides holdovers extending out to approximately 800 meters, allowing shooters to quickly compensate for bullet drop without manually dialing elevation adjustments.

The ACSS design is built around fast target acquisition at close range while providing additional ranging and ballistic information for shooting at distance.

11-Setting Red Illumination

The ACSS Aurora reticle features red illumination with 11 brightness settings, allowing the shooter to adjust the reticle for different lighting conditions. The optic is also night vision compatible and uses a commonly available CR2032 battery.

Second Focal Plane Design

This scope uses a second focal plane (SFP) reticle, meaning the reticle remains the same apparent size as magnification changes. This provides a consistent and easy-to-see reticle throughout the magnification range.

Because the ACSS Aurora incorporates ballistic holdovers, the BDC references should be used at the magnification specified for the reticle's calibration.

Upgraded Gen IV Optical System

The Gen IV SLx 1-6x24 features a fully upgraded optical system designed to improve image clarity and usability throughout the magnification range. The scope provides a generous 4-inch eye relief and a field of view ranging from 120 feet at 100 yards on 1X to 20 feet at 100 yards on 6X.

Integrated Magnification Throw Lever

An integrated magnification throw lever makes it easy to quickly transition between 1X and 6X. Whether moving from a close-range target to a more distant target or dialing back down for faster shooting, the lever provides additional leverage for quick magnification changes.
