This is the Trijicon RMR HD, the latest open reflex pistol optic in the Trijicon RMR lineup.
It takes all the amazing features of the previous RMR Type 2 Adjustable, and improves them. It has a top loading battery, downrange brightness sensor, and a multi-reticle system which is adjustable.
The RMR HD is Made in the USA, built for duty use, and come with the patented owl ears design which can withstand extreme drops.
It's a rugged optic, built to withstand the toughest conditions.
It's available in two reticle versions. A 55 MOA outer ring with a 1 MOA center dot, or a 55 MOA outer ring with a 3.25 MOA center dot.
DESCRIPTION
The Trijicon RMR® HD is an innovative red dot pistol optic specifically designed for the evolving needs of Law Enforcement and the Military. Built on the foundation of the Trijicon RMR® Adjustable LED model, the RMR HD features the same patented housing shape made from forged aluminum, robust electronic system, and quality lenses. Adding a long-lasting, top-loading battery, larger window, an innovative forward looking light sensor, multiple reticle options, market leading illumination adjustability, and it’s clear the RMR HD is designed and built for duty use. The innovative forward looking light sensor gauges the brightness at target in auto mode and adjusts reticle brightness to be effective in any lighting scenario. A new reticle allows you to switch between a complex reticle or single crisp dot, both of which include a new super bright setting and an additional night vision setting. The RMR HD also allows the operator to adjust the Auto Illumination as well as the dot/circle contrast. Additional features include larger, more tactile buttons, new adjusters with greater audible and tactile feedback, and an expanded field of view. Offering the same footprint as the RMR and designed to fit most existing optics-ready duty holsters*, the Trijicon RMR HD is ready for those needing a feature-rich optic with high performance and ultra-reliability.

Mounted this on my Staccato HD 3.6 and have been very impressed with it. Solid, rugged, and truly duty-grade. The 55 MOA ring with 3.25 MOA dot gives a fast presentation with enough precision when it counts. The window is generous and easy to track through recoil. Best feature by far is the auto-dim. It adjusts well in changing light and keeps me from having to constantly mess with brightness settings. Only thing I wish is that Trijicon offered a green option. Overall, excellent optic. Tough, clear, fast, and built for serious use.

Upgraded from a RMR to this. Much less fish bowl effect from the glass, much better auto brightness (options and sensitivity) and still built like a tank. Got it through the mail quick and being a Shop Pay compatible store makes it much easier to foot the bill.
