The 507c is my first dot optic. I have it mounted on a Springfield XD with a Outerimpact dovetail plate. The mounting plate is high quality with a separate dovetail piece that is pulled into the plate while the plate is pulled into the top of the slide. This makes a more solid mount than the 'one piece' adaptor plates that 'push' the dovetail and plate upward and away from the slide, as the set screws are tightened. I tried out the 507c optic at an outdoor range. I was at shooting steel plates at 35 yards. I think this green dot is going to be a game changer for me @ 72 years old. And only ever shooting iron sights before. With iron sights I need my reading glasses to see the sights, and the target is blurry. With the green dot, I use my distance glasses. And the target and dot are both clear. It's pretty amazing. I may have been able to have saved some money by buying the 407c instead. Because I never used the 32 MOA ring the whole time at the range. I shot around 200 rounds of 9mm today and the sight/mount stayed tight and zero'd. Thank You Freedom G. Your website really helped me with my first dot optic purchase.

I have the holosun enclosed window with the red dot and circle on my xds and thought I loved that one but this one I just got with the green chevron and large circle is amazing. It only took me 4 adjustments to get it zeroed. I absolutely love it.
Excellent mounting plate option for APX A1 red dot. Screws provided work perfectly with Holosun 407k red dot.
