Ten of our shooting glasses use polycarbonate lenses, from Radians and Walker's. Polycarbonate is what meets ANSI Z87.1 impact standards. It absorbs impact rather than breaking, which is what you want at a range where brass and debris are moving around.
Polycarbonate is also lighter than glass and blocks UV without a separate coating. One thing to watch for is scratching over time if you toss them loose in a bag. Walker's and Radians both make kits that include a case, which is worth it if you plan to use these for years.

The Holosun 407K X2 Green 6 MOA dot was exceptionally easy to install and fit my S&W M&P Shield X perfectly. The optic arrived accurately zeroed right out of the box, requiring little to no adjustment before heading to the range.
The green dot is crisp, bright, and easy to acquire. As a 75-year-old shooter, I found that it significantly improved my target acquisition speed and overall sight picture compared to iron sights alone.
I was also extremely impressed with Freedom Gorilla's shipping. My order arrived in approximately 36 hours, which was much faster than I expected.

Holosun 407k is a Perfect fit and choice for my S&W 9mm Equalizer.
This is a great red dot for the M&P Shield Plus. The adapter plate worked correctly, although I had read where some people mentioned that they didn't need it....mine definitely did need it. The only two things that I noticed with it, were that 1) I can accidentally turn the Holosun off when manipulating the slide, and 2) I do wish there was an auto brightness feature. My previous CT red dot automatically adjusted, and I think I liked that better. But, this Holosun is a better unit, and I really love the ring for quicker acquisition of the dot.
They are absolutely superior to the OEM screws. They look absolutely amazing to bring out the function and finish of the firearm.

This isn't my first holosun, been happy with the quality of them, and the green reticle is much easier to see with my astigmatism. Circle dot setup also helps my aging eyes acquire target quicker. Shipping was pretty quick as well.
I installed this on a LFA Apollo 11. I’ve had good luck with the Sig Romeo line so I figured I’d give this optic a try. The dot is nice and crisp and installation is easy. Sig only provides M3 and M4 screws. If you’re pistol uses a different size, you’ll need to make sure you have the appropriate screws.
