High rings clear larger objective lenses, 50mm and up, and work well on AR-platform flat-tops where the receiver height already raises the scope relative to a traditional bolt gun. Account for the higher bore axis by checking that your stock's comb height puts your eye in the right position before you torque anything down.

Check your stock comb height before ordering. High rings raise the bore axis and need a matching comb to keep your cheekweld consistent. Product pages include ring height in inches.
