Below are all of the Trijicon Pistol Optics that are open reflex sights. This means the LED emitter is open to the elements. Compared to a "closed emitter" the LED Emitter on an open reflex can in theory be blocked by dirt, dust, debris, precipitation or anything else that may obstruct the LED emitter.

Enclosed Emitter optics protect the LED emitter.
