This CHPWS filler plate will only fit Sig P320 models with a Romeo 1 Pro cut slide with RMR Holes. These are models usually made from 2020-Present.
This filler plate is designed for slides with rear dovetails attached to the slide but will work for slides where the dovetails are removed with the optics cover plate like the M18, M17, and Legion models.
This filler plate provides more security to mounting an RMR footprint optic to your P320. That's because without it there is space in the front and rear of an RMR footprint optic, and there are no recoil lugs. This means all the recoil forces are going directly into the screws which could cause them to shear off.
This filler plate makes contact with the front and rear of the optics cut and provides recoil lugs. This gives you a stronger base to mount your RMR footprint optic.

Had no problems with plate nice fit. BUT the 5/16 long screws were too long for the ejector side. Had to trim a little off. Still worked. It would be nice if 5/16" & 1/4 "long screws came with

Solid product that fulfills my need to equip my Holosun 507 c GDS. My only complaint is that it is significantly overpriced. In a world
of inflation and price gouging, this purchase hurt a bit. Not a whole lot of options out there, and this is tried and true so purchased it. If there were solid, high review, cheaper options out in the market I would be more keen on purchasing those filler plates this this one…
I bought a new Sig P320 X5 Legion and the rear site was attached to the optic cover so I lost the ability to co- witness. I went onto Freedom Gorilla and the step by step instructions on how to find the correct optic cut, the right footprint for the optic, and then one that would have a cut for rear sites or not. As always Freedom Gorilla came through. The plate fits perfectly to the curved optic cut and the optic fit perfectly to the plate. In the past I have had to reach out multiple times for help in my decision making on which optic is best for what I need, and always got an immediate if not instant personal answer on the phone or by text or email. I had a very difficult time finding the right plate for this forearm.. Freedom, gorilla, had all the exact answers and a plate for this firearm. I still haven’t mounted or use this plate.. I hope to do so in the near future.

Worked perfect with correct mounting screws
I followed the manufactures instructions in installing the filler plate. After firing 150 rounds, the Holosun 507 comp optic began to loosen. I then disassembled the optic and slide and examined the filler plate in relation to the slide. I found that there was a little gap that would allow the filler plate to slide front to back during recoil. I then used a needle nose plier to bend the front lip of the filler plate until it would fit onto the pistol slide snuggly without movement. I then reassembled the optic, using medium grade Loctite on the mounting screws. So far the screws have maintained their position without loosening.I then reassembled the optic, using medium grade Loctite on the mounting screws and if so far the screws have maintained their position without loosening. I don’t know whether it was a manufacturers error, or if my particular pistol slide had a longer optic mounting base.
