Customers praised this laser boresighter as "a great tool" that "works great" and saves time. Many found it effective for zeroing red dots and sights with excellent accuracy at the range. The price is "very reasonable." However, some noted concerns: batteries drain quickly ("lasted maybe a hour"), no on/off button requiring battery removal, and difficult removal from barrel requiring force.

Works great, easy to see at 10 yards indoors

Works great, easy to see at 10 yards indoors. Used it to verify the sighting of my red dot. Note that it comes on as soon as you put any pressure on the batteries during install so make sure the laser is pointed in a safe direction. After use I disassembled the unit and replaced the batteries and boresite in the original packaging. You can bend the tabs of the package to remove the separate components and then bend the tabs back to hold them into position after use.

Laser bore sight

I bore sighted the green dot sights on two pistols using the red laser firefighter. At our next range outing, my wife and I both shot groups centered around the target bullseye.

Zero in but not easy to remove

I was able to zero in my red dot however when trying to remove it from the barrel it didn’t come out so easily. I had to use force to remove it from the barrel. That’s the reason why I gave it a 4 star.
