Vortex Defender Flip Cap Objective - Fits 45-48mm Objective Lens - O-40

The Vortex Defender Flip Cap Objective 40 (O-40) is a polymer/rubber lens cover that snaps over the objective end of a riflescope to protect the front lens from dust, moisture, and impact. It has a matte black finish and is made in the USA.

A stainless steel snap-flat spring paired with a spring-loaded hinge lets the cap flip open and closed, holding at 45° and 90° stop positions so it can swing clear of the line of sight or snap back down over the lens when not in use.

The cap fits objective lenses with an outer diameter of 45.5-48.5 mm (1.8-1.9 inches), matching scopes with a 45-48 mm objective lens diameter, and weighs 1 oz.
