The Holosun 509 ACSS Vulcan Red Dot Sights are enclosed emitter specialty optics co-created with Primary Arms for full size and compact pistols. They come with an RMR or Glock MOS Adapter plate and there are aftermarket adapter plates available also. They feature a 250 outer ring and a 10 MOA chevron reticle. The purpose of the 250 MOA outer ring is to help you "find the chevron" when drawing the pistol. The 250 MOA outer ring is only visible when you do not see the chevron reticle. When the chevron is centered the outer ring is not visible. This acts like an aim assist to help you adjust your grip quickly to get on target faster. Learn more about the ACSS reticle here.
The 10 MOA Chevron gives you an extremely precise aiming point, and also acts as a rangefinder.
The 509 ACSS Vulcan has two panes of glass and a protective hood which covers the emitter. This means debris, water, dirt, lint, or dust cannot get in the way of the emitter and glass giving you extra reliability.
They come with shake awake, have a solar failsafe with auto and manual brightness mode, are IP67 waterproof, and have a 25,000 hour battery life. They have 7075 T6 aluminum housings and clear glass and come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Awesome product, at an amazing price. Fast processing and shipping. And an awesome Christmas Story themed freedom gorilla sticker. Nothing but good things from freedom gorilla, I never heard of them before, but I am super happy I went with them for this purchase.
Beretta 80X Cheetah Optics Plate - "H" Plate for Holosun 407K, 507K, EPS Carry

This is my first foray into a pistol red dot: I stumbled onto Freedom Gorilla searching for a red dot for my newly acquired M&P 5.7 and found lots of info integrated into a retail site. Freedom Gorilla really helped me narrow down my search with their helpful site info.
After cross referencing a bit and more searching i found the price right on target. On top of that they had some specific info to my platform I would have been lacking, such as needing specific mounting screws which were available by request at no charge. Their customer service was great when I reached out, and they shipped it right out with everything needed arriving on time thanks to the info available. So huge hit in the hassle free dept.
Hours after arrival I received delivery confirmation an email with more helpful links on mounting, sighting, and general operation of the sight came in. Who needs to read tiny directions with that kind of service?
As for the sight itself, first impressions are good but I don't count myself a reputable source with such little experience:
It's clear, brightness adjustable, well fitting on my platform, and appears sturdy.
Time and training will have to be the ultimate judge on how I like it v.s. iron sights on a pistol but first impressions make me think I've made all the right decisions.
At the end of the day, I can highly endorse Freedom Gorilla with this experience and will recommend them to friends/family, I can only hope to enjoy the product as much as the purchase experience.
