Holosun EPS Carry Reticles
The Holosun EPS Carry comes in red or green reticle versions. It also has the option to choose a 2 MOA version, 6 MOA version, or the MRS version. The MRS version features a solar panel, which make it one of the only options in this size to have a solar panel. The solar panel gives it auto brightness modes (in addition to manual) and the solar failsafe feature.
The MRS Reticle is three reticles in one. You get a 32 MOA outer ring, a 2 MOA Center dot, and can use just the 32 MOA ring only.
To toggle the reticle, you hold down the "-" button for three seconds and the reticle will change.
The MRS reticle is nice if you want flexibility. The larger outer ring helps you "find the dot" and the 2 MOA center dot is small and precise.
The green reticle versions are slightly more expensive than their red dot counterpart.

Holosun EPS Carry Footprint
The Holosun EPS carry has a modified RMSc footprint a.k.a. Holosun K Series footrpint. Read more about the Modified RMSc vs RMSc footprint here.
It also comes with an RMSc adapter plate, allowing it to mount on traditional RMSc footprint optics like the Glock 43X MOS and the Springfield Hellcat. However both of these pistols would need shorter screws which you can find here.
Holosun EPS Carry Intended Use
The Holosun EPS Carry is a micro pistol optic which means it is smaller in size. It’s intended to be used on smaller pistols like the Glock 43X MOS, S&W Shield Plus, Sig P365, or Springfield Hellcat. It can still be used on larger pistols like a Glock 19 MOS and S&W M&P 2.0, however to mount this on any pistol you must be aware of your pistols optic footprint. The EPS Carry can also be used as a rifle optic, PCC optic, or backup scope optic if you get a "K Series" picatinny or offset adapter found here.

Below is information on mounting the EPS Carry Reflex Sight on different pistols. Some pistols require adapter plates to make it fit. The table below is for Optics Ready pistols only. Holosun EPS Carry Review & Highlights
Since its much anticipated launch, the Holosun EPS Carry has quickly risen to become one of Holosuns top selling pistol optics and for good reason. It is one of the most durable enclosed emitter optics in the market with its 7075 T6 aluminum housing, and it’s very competitively priced.
Aesthetically it is one of the best looking enclosed pistol optics on the market. It takes everything that was great about the tried and true Holosun 407K/507K and added the extra piece of rear glass to turn it into a closed emitter optic.
With its 50,000 hours of battery life, side removable battery, and multiple models to choose from for any budget, the EPS Carry is a clear winner for anyone looking for a reliable, affordable, enclosed emitter micro pistol sight.
There is a 2 MOA version, 6 MOA version, and MRS reticle version to choose from.
The MRS reticle gives you a 2 MOA center dot and a 32 MOA outer ring. Holding down the “-” button for three seconds lets you toggle between the 2 MOA dot only, 32 MOA ring only, or both together.
The MRS version of the EPS Carry also has a solar panel which gives it an additional solar failsafe and an auto brightness mode + manual brightness mode. All other models do not come with the solar panel and have manual brightness only.
The other great thing about the EPS carry is that it comes with an RMSc adapter plate. This plate will eliminate the need to buy additional adapter plates to make it fit your RMSc footprint gun. However on certain firearms like the Hellcat and Glock 43x you will need shorter screws which you can get here.
Overall the EPS carry is the market leader in the micro enclosed pistol optic game and there are thousands of happy customers out there using it every day.

Holosun EPS Carry Downsides
The only real downside to the Holosun EPS Carry series of optics is that they are a modified rmsc footprint. This means that for some guns that have an RMSc footprint and not a “K series footprint” you will need to use the included adapter plate. This will cause the optic to sit a bit higher and may obstruct your irons sights.
This can be fixed with getting taller iron sights, but it is something worth noting.
If this is a deal breaker for you you can check out the Vortex Defender CCW. It doesn’t have the same reticle, but it will mount directly on a regular “RMSc” footprint slide if that is a top priority for you.
Holosun EPS Carry Warranty
Holosun has a limited lifetime warranty. Basically everything is covered for the lifetime of the optic except for the electronics, that is covered for 10 years.
We’ve dealt with Holosuns warranty department and they are easy to deal with.
Also when you purchase from Freedom Gorilla, if you have an issue within 30 days we will replace the optic for you free of charge.
